Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is handled by the third-party provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A direct message gives us the information in that message, which is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may create ordinary logs such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain availability and understand traffic. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where available, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
The limited information is used to operate the reference, resolve problems, measure aggregate traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
County, city, state, library, archive, and sponsored-search links lead to services with their own policies. Their rules control information submitted after leaving this reference, including information entered in a sponsored result form.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, effective July 1, 2024, provides qualifying Texas residents with access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights for covered business data. Because this reference keeps very little visitor data, a request generally involves the contact mailbox and available logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Texas, Brazos County, or College Station custodians remain outside our control and must be addressed to the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Policy revisions appear here. Continued use after publication of a revision indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
